In Castle town, after you got the shopping etc qeust from the Priestess in the temple, you can keep entering the Adventurer's guild building and get the same dialog each time, including the 500gold reward, as many times as you want, creating an infinite money glitch there
So... um... is ice maze... broken? I entered it got stuck, and none of my inputs are doing anything. I shoukd mention, my computer's fan kicked up a notch but I hope it waw unlmrelated.
Realizing I probably should put my decisions in to see if there's a coding contradiction:
In first town, both corn eaten. Carrots and both tomatos were harvested.
In second town, killed and ate purples, killed one red one and decided not to eat. But got poisoned was pretty weak and rather stupidly challenged second red mushroom. Died, got sent to temple, didn't realize I had to go up to it... Activated fight again but had to retreat, reat was successful. Healed properly. Fought second red mushroom (Savageroom I think was called) anyways, defeated it, then ate.
Third town, talked to H. Priestess. went to desert, said no at prompt, went up to mountain prompt said no. Saves. Went up mountatin then talked to priestess there. Directed furyher up mountain. Proceeded, let animation play out, tried entering maze, slide, stuck. no controlling... Rolled back save, same problem. Hope this helps w/ the bug crushing, sir/madame dev. :]
Thanks for the detailed report! I think it just boils down to which input methods are actually checked while the player is in the maze, and the newest update should at least slap a band-aid over it, but if it’s still not working, please let me know.
Ah, dammit. I only tested this with a gamepad and keyboard, but apparently mouse input doesn’t work due to the way the sliding event checks for directional inputs. If you’re on PC, use your arrow keys instead of the mouse.
Now I need to check how it’s handled on mobile… probably the same as mouse.
Seems like there's a softlock after climbing the cliff on the beach, there doesn't seem to be a level transition into the town. Edit: not really sure if the lifeguard quest is broken or not either, going back starts his dialogue again and going up the cliff and losing the ticket doesn't do anything. You can go back down and back up the cliff like walking after the cutscene though.
Yeah, I was working on actually testing the maps for the first time right up until the last few minutes, and the island area got hit the hardest with uncaught bugs. The lifeguard bit was especially bad because I forgot to set progress switches AND drunkenly coded a bunch of ‘move right’ (back towards the last map) as ‘move left’ (and basically skip the checkpoint altogether, with no way to go back because of those switches that didn’t get set).
There's a bug, in castle town, realize that im stuck, i really i can't get out from castle town (weast and east) and the buildings is invincible and not solid, like i could walk pass throught it.
And even with debug teleport, i still stuck on castle town since i can't access anything. seems it happens due i eat red mushrooms
Soon! Right now I’m working on quashing the bugs, so I don’t have to build a bunch of different flavors (Windows, macOS, Linux, web, etc.) every time there’s a bug that needs fixing.

The game is fun, but a issue i found was that the monsters don't have a health bar when you fight them.
As well, during the succubus fight there is no indicator for how much energy you have absorbed.

Really enjoying this! The characters are well defined and I like the slow-ish pace of Barb's gain!

I do have a bugfixed build of the game that (hopefully) solves most of the major issues, although it probably needs a new save to work properly. However, it’s outside of the scope of this jam and it won’t be uploaded to the main itch page until after the review period has ended in a couple weeks or so.
